Morocco, and North Africa in general, is very different. You should understand the distinction. When most people say Africa, they're usually referring to Sub-Saharan Africa. North Africa has always been an integral part of Mediterranean civilization, and Egypt has always been a major player in the Middle East. They are very different from the civilizations south of the Sahara and have more connections with Eurasia than they do with them.

Granted, places like Mali and Ethiopia were relatively well developed, but remember, they make up a small portion of Sub-Saharan Africa, and by the time the Europeans came, they weren't doing so great. To say that Africa was doing great when Europeans came is a stretch of any imagination, and to say that they were doing great after they came is also another stretch. While calling it a "piece of shit" is harsh, in the way Abs uses it, it's not totally inaccurate.  It suggests nothing of the people, but rather, of the conditions and development of Sub-Saharan Africa.

Who first buried their dead. Who first mummified their dead. Who first found medicine. Who first made primitive bandages. Pottery? Sculpture , paint, tattoos, pierciings. Traps?

Jewelry? Recorded history? Shoes?

There are an array of things which easily could have been initiated by black Africans. Certainly they did not live in caves until they saw the white man picketing a fence around his mansion as you attempt to imply here. Good show kidruin and it's too bad I'm stuck arguing this on my phone.
